Another DBC State Chapter

On February 23, 2008, seventeen people came to Tom and Carole Virnig’s house including Mary Hartnett, Executive Director for Minnesota Commission Serving Deaf and Hard of Hearing People and formed a new Minnesota-DBC chapter.

The attendees are Tom and Carole Virnig, Lisa Ewan, Anna Virnig, Ric Lyles, Chet and Heather Virnig, Myan Virnig, Ambu Virnig, Deb Hornfeldt, Tom Anderson, Tim Smith, Abbi Virnig, Ethan Virnig, Jeff and Beth Seibert, Mary Hartnett and John and Shirley Egbert.

MINN-DBC will have another meeting on March 8th to discuss plans to set up outreach schedule to speak around the state about DBC’s mission statement and also to have fundraising potluck for chartering buses to Milwaukee attending DBC Education Conference on June 27-30, 2008.
